Porovnání vývoje BTC s jinými kryptoměnami

The aim of this paper is to evaluate the price development of Bitcoin and Ethereum over the last five years. Furthermore, their comparison. To achieve this goal, content analysis and correlation analysis methods were used. The results of the content analysis show that both these cryptocurrencies have experienced large fluctuations in price development, with both reaching their peak in 2021. The correlation analysis revealed a strong correlation in the price development of Bitcoin and Ethereum. The contribution of this paper is to contribute to a better understanding and appreciation of these important cryptocurrencies that have a significant impact on financial markets and investment decisions. The limitation of this thesis is primarily the number of cryptocurrencies examined. Further research could include a broader range of cryptocurrencies and evaluate their evolution relative to Bitcoin and Ethereum.
